"The Furnas Azores House"


"The Furnas Azores House" is located in Furnas village (has aproxamilty 1400 habitants), inside a dorment volcano crater, that has hot springs, thermal baths, hiking places, botanical gardens and a lots of nature to apreciate and tanquility to relax where it is situated on the island.

1st Floor: 1 bedroom (King size bed), good sized bathroom with shower, large kitchen with big windows to a balcony where you can see a terafic view of Furnas village, pasture, hot springs and Furnas crater mountains.

Bottom Floor: 2 bedrooms (1 King size bed and 1 Junior size bed), bathroom with shower, living/tv room with 2 bed sofas and fireplace and plasma tv. The door leads to the backyard that has fruit trees (just planted this year), and courtyard furniture to relax. Os Anfitriãos: Flávia & Gary Travassos

Flávia é a anfitriã principal da casa. Ela nasceu na ilha de São Miguel e viveu a maior parte da sua vida na freguesia das Furnas, por isso conhece muitos detalhes da região. Eu sou assistente social, trabalhei num restaurante local durante 4 anos e num hotel de 4 estrelas durante 2 anos, por isso me deu alguma experiência na área de turismo. Adoro fotografar, crianças, conhecer e conversar com pessoas diferentes. Gary nasceu no Canadá e veio para os Açores com 10 anos. Ele é um Guia desde o ano de 2000. Eu tenho uma empresa de turismo e sou apaixonado pelo que faço e onde vivo, por isso, se houver alguma necessidade, posso tentar ajudá-lo em diferentes áreas. Adoro viajar, fotografar, jardinagem e compartilhar experiências com os meus clientes de todo o mundo.

The house has free wifi, cable tv, refridgerator, washing and dryer machine, dish washer, expresso and american coffee machine, microave, and most of food tools to make and use..... Parking is at the local and for free.

The Hosts: Flavia & Gary Travassos

Flavia is the main host of the House. was born on Sao Miguel island and lived most of her life in Furnas village, so she knows many details things of the area. I am a Social worker. I have worked at a restaurante for 4 years and at 4 star hotel for 2 years, so it gave Me some experience in Tourism. I love to meet and talk with different people. Gary was born in Canada, and came to the Azores when he was 10 years old. He is a Tourist Guide since 2000. I have a Tour company, and I am passionate in what I do and where I live on, so if there is any need I can try to help you in different areas. I love to travel, photographing, gardening and share experiences with my clients from all around the World.


We love to meet people from all around the World and help them have an unforgetable vacation. We apreciate repeating clients too, since it shows how they apreciated the place where they stayed and where it is situated on the island.
